This is so true and such a great observation! I often wonder to myself if people who work in other industries such as architecture are overwhelmed with the same level of content that we see in the UX & Product industries.
I love how you used the phrase "pool of ideas" because much of the content is just that, IDEAS, pontifications and frankly re-named processes and terminology that often feels like an attempt to get likes, tweets, etc.
I can't imagine the overwhelm that people coming into the industry must feel. To be frank, I catch myself being overwhelmed with terms, tools, tactics, etc ... thanks for bringing up this important issue in our industry and writing such a *thoughtful* and non-surface level article about it!
